UWMC Honors Program

The UWMC Honors Program offers an exciting and challenging addition to your undergraduate courses.

Honors courses or sections build on traditional course content to expand the ideas and resources available to the ambitious student. They provide the opportunity for focused research, interesting creative projects, and independent learning by inviting you to work closely with the professor and with other Honors students.

You may take as many or as few Honors credits as you want. It is not necessary to be in the complete program. Those of you who qualify, and who want the Honors designation for your transcript and resumes, are encouraged to take at least one Honors course each semester.

By taking Honors courses, you may be eligible for Honors scholarships, Honors recognition on your transcript, will gain enhanced academic experience, have closer contact with faculty, and build a more impressive resume.
